In light of new COVID-19 guidelines, worship at NDPC is changing.
As of this coming Sunday, May 23rd, masks in worship will be optional. We encourage those who are unvaccinated or those who prefer to wear masks to continue to do so.
Worship outdoors in the beauty of God's creation has been popular with our congregation for reasons other than COVID safety, so we will continue to hold worship outdoors every 1st Sunday of the month during the summer, weather permitting.
Beginning May 30th, worship services on 2nd-5th Sundays will be held primarily indoors. All doors and windows in the sanctuary will be open, and window fans will be fitted in the windows of the Shepherd’s Room to facilitate air circulation. If there are people who prefer to worship from outdoors, please let us know. Accommodation will be provided.
Assuming that social distancing guidelines are lifted on May 28th, social distancing during worship will become optional. Part of the sanctuary will be set aside for those who wish to continue with this practice.
Cleaning and disinfection policies will be carried out in accordance with state and CDC guidelines.
The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and the giving of the offering will continue as they were practiced outdoors for now. The elements will be pre-packaged, and offering boxes will be placed at each sanctuary door.
Please note that worship this Sunday, May 23rd, will still be outdoors! Bring your chairs!
