"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope."
Romans 15:4 (NIV)

7 Weeks of Study and Prayer
Right now, connection and community are more important than ever. They can also be harder to come by. That's why now is a good time to return to our small groups. Smaller groups are safer groups, and can serve, pray, and learn in more specific, flexible ways. Each small group can choose a time and method of meeting (online, or safely in person) that works for them.
In order to join a small group, choose the focus below that most interests you.
Bible Study Focus
Great Themes of the Bible: God is Faithful
At the heart of the Bible's story is a relationship between God and people, sparked by God's initiative, sustained by God's promise, and sealed in covenant terms. Come, track the narrative as God holds steady while the people struggle to keep faith and fulfill their mission in God's world. The covenant relationship is explored from Abraham through Moses, David, and the Prophets, up to Jesus—calling us to renew our place among God's loyal people.
Book - Being Disciples: Essentials of the Christian Life, by Rowan Williams
What does it mean to follow Jesus? This is a grounded, practical, gentle book that covers the basics of discipleship with chapters on Faith, Hope, and Love, Forgiveness, Holiness, Faith in Society, and Life in the Spirit. It will appeal both to those new to following Jesus and those who have been on the road for a long time as a refreshing reminder of what our life is really about.
Book - Delighting in the Trinity, by Michael Reeves
Practical, accessible, and funny, this book encourages not only intellectual understanding of the Trinity but also delight in the doctrine, giving legs to the Shorter Catechism's assertion that our purpose in life is to enjoy God, as well as to know and glorify him.
Each small group study will run for seven weeks. To sign up to your desired choice of group please fill out the registration form below. There will also be an opportunity to sign up during outdoor worship. The studies will commence in September.
